Vessels were run with plenty machinery in those days with no computers.
8th floor elevator hall in North Side has been made to just like to be a wheelhouse from those days.

4 - 7th Floor Elevator Halls “Deck”
Deck-designed elevator halls are built in 4 to 7th floors. Shiny wooden deck floors with handrails, deck chairs
and a gyroscope and so on through the window.

3rd Floor Elevator Hall “Engine Room”
3rd floor elevator hall is designed as an entrance of the “Engine Room” at the bottom the ship. Once you step in, you feel like exploring inside the ship. The door of the captain’s room and a door with a sign of “Danger” on are there; big pipes are all over the place even onto the ceiling.
It’s just like a passage in an engine room! |
